Spencer Palmer - Vice President of Investments and a General Partner at Montgomery Partners, has been integral since joining in 2017. With over 8 years of expertise in multifamily/commercial real estate investing, real estate finance, and commercial construction, Spencer oversees brokerage-related acquisition and dispositions, underwriting, debt origination, asset management, and plays a key role in sourcing institutional investing partners for the firm.

Spencer earned his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development and Finance from Georgetown University.  His career began at Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), the institutional division of Marcus & Millichap, where he contributed significantly to the #1 debt and finance team, originating over $65M in debt and participating in an additional $200M in loans.

Prior to IPA, Spencer honed his skills in commercial construction at Stephenson Construction in San Francisco, bringing practical insights to his current role. Since joining Montgomery Partners, Spencer has been instrumental in over $750M worth of transactions, representing the purchase of more than 1,300 apartment units, and facilitated over $350M worth of debt placements. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of California.
